Parent administration

The paperwork side: planning the term, logging the days, and keeping proof of the work.

Plan the term

Decide the topics per subject before the term starts, so you are not choosing tomorrow's lesson at ten o'clock tonight.

Log the days

A short daily entry — date, subjects covered, anything notable. Five lines is enough.

Keep the work

One folder per child per term. Date every sheet. That folder is your evidence.

Track progress

Note what a child can do now that they could not do last term. That is progress, not a grade.

Store it safely

Photograph or scan the folder at the end of each term and keep a copy off the premises.

Be ready to show it

If anyone ever asks what your child has been learning, you want to reach for one folder, not search the house.
